Beef And Pasta

Ingredients :
  • 3/4 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) Vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 can (about 8 oz.) stewed tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups dry medium tube shaped or corkscrew pasta
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, if desired for garnish
Directions :
  1. In medium skillet over medium high heat, cook beef until browned, stirring occasionally. Pour off fat.
  2. Add broth, Worchestershire sauce, oregano, garlic powder, and tomatoes.
  3. Heat to a boil. Stir in uncooked pasta.
  4. Reduce heat to low.
  5. Cover and cook 10 minutes, stirring often.
  6. Uncover and cook 5 more minutes, or until pasta is done and most of liquid is absorbed.
  7. If desired, garnish with grated Parmesan cheese.
