  • 3-15oz cans of Chickpeas
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2/3 cups olive oil
  • 4 big tablespoons of Tahini(sesame paste)
  • Juice of one large lemon or two small lemons.

Place garlic and the olive oil into a food processor and blend until garlic is minced, add sesame, chickpeas and then lemon juice, and blend until smooth. I like to serve it with minced parsley on top, you can also add a thin layer of olive oil on top of the hummus which serves as a tasty seal that will keep the hummus fresh.
